Principal: Dr Richard Janus

I am a medical doctor with nearly 30 years of experience as a general medical practitioner, having trained in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. I have degrees in Medicine and Surgery. My surgical training has included participation in general surgery, open heart surgery, orthopaedics and trauma surgery.

I have been piercing since the 1980's, and also helping people with failed, failing or ailing piercings trying as much as possible to save the piercing. My interest in piercing is part of a broader interest in body-modification, tattooing and adornment stemming from my time living in Papua New Guinea and the South Pacific.

I have regularly taught piercing around Australia and am an accredited teacher.

I have previously attended the Annual Conference of The Association of Professional Piercers in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
