Johnnie - Apradavya Piercing without anesthetic
Just to let you all know an Apradavya is a male genital piercing that runs vertically, and at a slight angle, passing through the urethra at the head of the penis.
I choose to do mine without the anesthetic for a number of reasons. It was a modern day coming of age ritual for me, so to speak. But with or without anesthetic its no different to any other piercing except for its position. In all honesty compared to a nipple piercing it hurts a lot less & feels a bit like across between getting your finger SLAMMED in a door way & having your willy caught in your fly ( or vice verse ) and Im sure that's happened to most guys at one stage or another.
The only difference is that this is a guys pride and joy ( mostly joy ) and just the mere thought of a hollow needle being shoved through your willy can be unsettling to say the least. What you need to remember is that this is all in your head, you need to detach yourself from the idea that its gunna hurt like hell or the fear that you'll never have sex again trust me you will. This is made especially hard since most guys carry their brain in there pants, especially when your 18, but like I said before its all in your head.
Leading up to the piercing I got really nervous and excited, this was made worse by the fact I had to wait nearly an hour but that wasn't a problem. When at long last Richard finally came to get me he sat me down and explained everything clearly, like where it would go, what it would pass through etc... and no matter how hard I tried I found myself asking stupid questions like "Is it gunna hurt?" DAH! of course it will( thats not what he said by the way )Im sure every piercer gets asked questions like this and it must annoy the hell out of them.
So I then dropped my pants and laid down on the table and waited for Richard to put some solution on my willy to disinfect it before he pierced it, once that had dried he then told me to take a few deep breaths and then he pushed the needle in and out through the urethra and back in the urethra again and out the other side ( just thinking about it now it probably was more like having your willy slammed in a door way ) and it was all over. Surprisingly the pain went as quickly as it came, I mean it hurt to touch but it would'nt continue to hurt afterwards only if it was touched. Its a bit hard to explain.
I then went to put my pants back on and managed to do so before I felt incredibly sick and was told to lie down before i passed out. It wasnt til then that I realised the amount of trauma Id just put myself through and alot I think has to do with the whole idea that I was talking about before. Its just a bit of a mind game, having said that I recovered to have to lie down again another two times but after that it was like I'd had nothing done to it in the first place.
That was until I had to drive home when I felt every bump in the road. Peeing for the first time was painful, like hot razorblades but that passed after two days ( BE WARNED: when peeing for the first time be prepared for it to go everywhere except in the bowl! this is because of the blood clotting in your willy ), there wasnt much swelling that I noticed but after a couple of days I noticed a bit of bruising around the area.
The morning after I woke to find a little pool of blood, thats normal, bloody urines normal too for the first 2 or 3 days and probably the most painful erection you'll ever have as well. After that day I cant remember it hurting all that much, except for when I tryed to lie on my stomach, but like all things in life its tuff at the start. Compared to a tongue piercing its alot less annoying as well, unless you get a hard on in jeans for the first time and find that your in a bit of pain and feel akward coz the bar is stuck to your skin with dried discharge.
Cleaning is pretty simple just follow Richards every word and you should be right and be gentle with your cleaning at first coz it will hurt if you try and move the bar up and down, you wont notice that movement after a couple of days though. The best thing to do I think is take as much vitamin C and Zinc as you possibly can to speed the whole healin process up and as for playing with yourself, well I waited 2 weeks until I tryed & Im 18 so thats along time to go with out but its all up to you, ejaculating hurt the first time but its all down hill from then on.
