I don't like my piercing. Can I take it out?

I've had my eyebrow piercing for at least 4 months but it keeps getting
infected. I clean it with antibacterial soap, and my piercist told me
to put peroxide on it. It goes down after a few days, but when it's hot
outside and I sweat, it gets back infected. This time when it goes down
I want to take out. I don't even want it anymore. Do you think it's a
good idea to take it out?
