What are the long term problems with clitoral piercings?

I was wondering if there are any long term problems with clitoral hood
piercings?
e-mail reply:
If the piercing passes through a good amount of skin and is at least 14gauge
and you are not allergic to the metal, then providing there is no trauma
to the piercing (getting it ripped by tangling with your lover's jewelry!)
it should last as long as you do!
Get it done by an expert who has done plenty before!
